Refund policy for consulting services
JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD sells professional services, not goods. There is no merchandise to return and no physical shipment to arrange. What follows describes how fees are returned when an engagement is cancelled, paused or does not deliver what was agreed.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the consulting services listed on the services page: CRM selection, ERP selection, analytics and BI rollout, process automation and system integration, together with any support or pilot work quoted alongside them. Platform subscriptions and licences that you buy directly from a vendor are outside this policy, because those arrangements are contracts between you and the vendor.
Cancellation before work starts
If you cancel an engagement before the first scheduled session or deliverable has been produced, the full project fee is returned to you. We ask for cancellation in writing, and the fee is returned within fourteen days of receiving that notice. No deduction is made in this case.
Cancellation after work has started
Once the engagement has begun, the fee is split between the portion of the work already delivered and the portion still outstanding. You are invoiced for the delivered portion and the balance of the fee is returned to you. The delivered portion is calculated from the milestones set out in your proposal, and we show you that calculation on the invoice.
The same rule applies when an engagement is cancelled under the terms of service: the delivered share is invoiced and the remainder is returned, with no additional cancellation charge on either side.
Paused engagements
If you ask us to pause an engagement, we will hold the remaining scope and the remaining fee for up to ninety days at no additional cost. After ninety days the reserved scope is released and can be re-quoted later, and you are invoiced only for work completed to that date.
If a deliverable does not meet the agreed scope
If a final deliverable — for example a requirement brief, comparison matrix, workflow design or integration document — does not match the scope written in your proposal, tell us in writing within ten working days of delivery. JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD will either correct the deliverable at no charge or, if we cannot, complete it at no charge. If the issue remains unresolved after a reasonable attempt, the affected share of the fee is returned.
Free initial audit
The initial process audit described on the process page is provided without charge, whether or not you go on to commission an engagement. The written process map remains yours either way, so there is nothing to refund and nothing to repay.
Credits for future work
Where a client prefers to continue working with JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD rather than receive a cash refund, we can issue a credit equal to the amount that would have been returned. That credit is applied to a future engagement and does not expire within twelve months of issue.
Payment method and timing
Refunds are returned to the same payment method used for the original invoice. Bank processing usually takes five to ten working days after we have issued the refund, depending on your bank.
