Start with decisions, not data
JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD begins by writing down the decisions your teams make in a week: how many lines to staff, which products to promote, when to renegotiate a supplier contract. Only then do we work out what data those decisions need. It is a slower start, but it produces a reporting layer with a job instead of a shelf of unused charts.
The four stages
- Decision catalogue — every recurring question, who asks it, how often, and what they do today instead.
- KPI tree — each measure traced to a driver, so nobody debates two different definitions of revenue.
- Model and pipeline — sources cleaned, joined and refreshed, with data-quality checks and named owners.
- Dashboards and handover — a small number of screens built for the people who make the call, plus training so the team can extend them.
One number, one definition
The most common failure we find is not missing data — it is conflicting numbers. The ERP says one revenue figure, the warehouse says another, and the meeting ends with an argument about arithmetic. What you receive
A decision catalogue, a metric dictionary, the semantic model, the dashboards, a data-quality report and two training sessions. Everything is documented and handed over, including the source files. If a team later wants to build its own reports, they can — that is the point of a semantic layer rather than a pile of one-off extracts.
Fixed fee, from $6,400
Rollouts start at $6,400 and typically run two to four weeks depending on how many source systems need reconciling. Platform and warehouse licence fees are quoted separately and shown in full.
