Cookie and local storage policy
Short version: this site does not set tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for one thing — remembering whether you accepted or declined the consent banner. This page explains exactly how that works.
What we store, and where
When you press Accept all or Decline all in the consent banner, JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD writes a single value into your browser’s local storage under the key cookieConsent. The value is either true or false.
Local storage belongs to your browser, on your device. It is not transmitted to JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD, it is not sent to our hosting provider, and it is never visible to any other website. On your next visit, the script reads that key and hides the banner if a choice has already been recorded. If no value is present, the banner is shown again.
Why we use it
The stored entry is necessary for the basic function of the site: remembering a choice you have already made so that you are not asked again on every page. Nothing else is written to local storage by our scripts.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels and no behavioural profiling on this site.
- No analytics scripts that build a profile of your browsing across other websites.
- No session cookies that identify you between pages.
- No data broker lookups and no sale or rental of contact data.
Third-party resources
Pages on this site load fonts, stylesheets and scripts from content delivery networks, and those providers may set their own technical cookies or storage entries of their own in order to serve the files. Those entries are governed by the provider’s own policies, not by JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD. We have chosen providers that publish their data practices, but the resources are third-party and we cannot inspect their internal handling directly.
Your choices
You can change your decision at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings, which removes the stored value and brings the banner back on your next visit. If you prefer to do it manually, your browser developer tools let you remove the cookieConsent entry directly.
Declining the banner does not prevent you from using this site — every page, service description and document remains fully available, and the consultation form works exactly the same way.
