Automate the waiting, not the thinking

Bad automation replaces judgement with rules and then apologises for it. Good automation removes the handoffs where a quote waits three days, an order gets retyped, and an invoice gets chased. JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD builds the second kind, with the first kind explicitly out of scope.

We measure before we automate

Every blueprint JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD produces starts with a baseline: how many hours a week a task consumes, how many times it fails, how long it sits waiting for a human. Without that number, nobody can tell whether the new flow is better — and without it, automation projects turn into arguments about anecdotes.

The baseline comes from a two-hour observation session with the people doing the work, plus your existing logs where they exist. It usually surprises people. The task everyone complains about is rarely the most expensive one; it is usually the one nobody has measured.

What we build

  • Triggers and rules — the events that start a flow, written in language your team recognises.
  • Data movement — where information comes from, how it is validated, where it lands.
  • Exception paths — what happens when a customer is missing, a price is missing, or a document is unreadable. This is where most automation quietly breaks.
  • Ownership — who is notified, who decides, and what happens at 5pm on a Friday.

Tooling we recommend

JIGSAW GLOBAL LTD picks the smallest tool that does the job: a native workflow engine inside your CRM or ERP when it covers the requirement, a dedicated automation platform when it does not, and a scheduled script when that is all the process needs. We do not resell automation licences, so the recommendation is genuinely neutral.

What we deliberately do not automate

Judgement calls, customer conversations, quality inspection, anything where the right answer depends on context. If a process needs a person thinking about it, the automation should stop at the point where a person takes over — and say so on the diagram.

Fixed fee, from $3,900

A single workflow blueprint with baseline measurement, build and monitoring costs from $3,900 and runs one to three weeks. If you only want the blueprint and intend to build it yourselves, we will hand over the design and the test cases for a reduced scope, quoted before we start.
